Approximately 500 Children participate in the Lions Club youth ball program each year. The Games start in late May and will continue through the end of July. Game days will be scheduled Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; this leaves Wednesday and weekends for the family. Lion’s club ball program has been in existence since 1968 and we are proud to say many generations have enjoyed summer ball throughout the years. Practice sessions will start one month prior to the start of the games at the coach’s discretion.
The concession stand funds stay in the Spring Hill Community.
Funds raised provide scholarships for high school seniors, local daycare eyes-screenings for age 6 months to 5 years, fund eye glasses for those with low income , provide assistance for needy families, and community resources for non-profit groups. Ways your team can support the Lions Club Concession Stand.
• Purchase tickets for $1.50 each for players on your team to get a treat after each game is played.
• Purchase drinks and food at the concession stand instead of purchasing prior to games.
